Vocational Training made in Germany – iMOVE interviews Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation (Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation)

There is a growing international demand for vocational training from Germany on the global education market. The initiative “iMOVE” (International Marketing of Vocational Education) promotes the placement of offers by German training providers on the international market for advanced training. iMOVE offers a variety of services to German education providers with regard to preparing and realizing their commitment abroad.

With “Training made in Germany”, iMOVE advertises German expertise in the field of initial and continuing vocational training abroad.

Since its foundation in 1992, the Sparkassenstiftung has committed itself to setting up and further developing vocational training facilities within the international financial sector. The development of concepts, programmes and vocational training measures for bank staff across the globe are part of Sparkassenstiftung’s broad range of services offered in its partner countries. In an interview with iMOVE, Ferdinand Feldgen, Deputy Managing Director of Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation (Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation), presented Sparkassenstiftung’s experience and expertise in the international education sector.

Since 2001, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has supported the marketing for “Training – Made in Germany” with the initiative iMOVE, which is affiliated with the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).
