Strategy 2030

In an interconnected world, sustainable economic development depends largely on stable, equal and inclusive financial systems. People around the world strive for perspectives – for security, participation and development opportunities for themselves and their communities. The vision ‘Creating perspectives. Together. Worldwide.’ sums up our mission: We are committed to making these perspectives a reality – for as many people as possible, in as many regions as possible.

As international advocates of the Sparkassen idea, we are aware of the power of locally anchored, non-profit financial institutions. Our mission to contribute the Sparkassen idea to global developments is based on a deep understanding that financial inclusion, regional economic development and knowledge transfer are key levers for sustainable growth. Together with our local partners, we strengthen structures that are sustainable in the long term – economically, socially and ecologically.

This commitment is not only an expression of international solidarity. It is also in Germany's strategic interest: more stable countries of origin and local economic development can reduce the causes of forced migration and at the same time supplement the demand for skilled workers in Germany through fair migration processes. Fair migration management, combined with economic cooperation on an equal footing, thus contributes to balanced global developments – and also benefits the German economy.

Thus, this is our approach: reliable, cooperative and impact orientated.

Vision
Creating perspectives. Together. Worldwide.

Mission
We are contributing the Sparkassen idea to global developments. We are promoting financial inclusion and regional economic development through practical know-how. Together with our local partners, we create long-term and sustainable structures.
