In 2015, Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation (Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation) again succeeded in expanding its project portfolio and launch projects in new partner countries while networking its activities in the regions more strongly.
With a project volume of about 15 million euros, Sparkassenstiftung executed projects in 36 countries. Among others, new projects were launched in Moldova and Belarus, Namibia, the Gambia and Honduras.
Sparkassenstiftung’s HR base has also grown: More than 200 staff members are currently working for Sparkassenstiftung all around the globe; some 80 percent of them are at work in projects abroad.
