From the Rhineland to the capital: Exhibition “Development Money” continues its trip through Germany

From 4 September through to 26 October 2014 Sparkassenstiftung’s photo exhibition is shown in Berlin

After a successful stop in Cologne, the Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband (German Savings Banks Association – DSGV) is now presenting Sparkassenstiftung’s exhibition at its “Sparkassenhaus” in Berlin.

A selection of photos taken by the photographer Philip Ruopp from Ulm is presented, showing the everyday life of the people in Ghana, Laos and Vietnam – some of Sparkassenstiftung’s partner countries. Ruopp visited these countries for a couple of weeks and collected intense impressions, showing Sparkassenstiftung’s work from a different angle: The artful pictures not only portray the cultural, religious and political circumstances of the respective partner country, but also display the personal destinies of the recipients of “development money”.
