Migrants residing in the Free State of Bavaria who have only limited prospects of remaining or who have already expressed the wish to return to their country of origin (irrespective of their respective residence status) are to be supported in their voluntary return to their home country and prepared for the economic challenges.
Since in some of the countries of origin, dependent employment tends to be the exception rather than the rule, Sparkassenstiftung's measure focuses on equipping the target group with basic knowledge on how to set up a business and fundamental business management know-how in order to facilitate better prospects in their country of origin. This is also intended to improve the management of the target group's available household budgets.
Sparkassenstiftung has already been successfully implementing these measures since the beginning of 2018 within the scope of GIZ's 'Programme Migration for Development (PME)' project under BMZ's 'Perspective Home' programme.
Joint activities with LfAR pick up where this left off and build on the experience gained.
The established cooperation with Social Impact (SI) and the Berufliche Fortbildungszentren der bayerischen Wirtschaft gGmbH (bfz) is being continued and intensified. The project is now in its second phase.
Task
Implementation of Savings Game and Microbusiness Game for migrants in Bavaria who are interested in returning, primarily via initial or follow-up accommodation facilities or the existing return counselling structures.
