Together with RIAS, a consulting company of Rabobank Netherlands, Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung supported Latvijas KrajBanka in the process of comprehensive restructuring to become a universal bank with nationwide operations. In this context, Sparkassenstiftung was in charge of human resources and sales.
A comprehensive personnel structure analysis was carried out and a personnel development concept was developed on this basis. This includes the use of instruments for personnel and career planning, the application of working time models, the appraisal system and performance-related remuneration systems.
In the area of sales network management, new work processes were developed in branch offices. In addition, the savings bank's individual customer groups were analysed in detail as a basis for realigning the corporate strategy and developing new products.
The concepts developed together with the project partner were implemented in the short term and led to a significant improvement in internal performance, which was reflected in corresponding successes on the market.
