The project aims to allow more companies and young people to benefit from a dual vocational training system that meets the needs of the Mexican labor market. Dual training in the agricultural sector in Mexico has significant potential: for example, the industry for processing agricultural products has contributed up to 8 % of Mexico's GDP in recent years, and there are currently approximately 5.5 million people working in the agricultural sector. However, the promotion of the dual system in the agricultural sector is currently still in its initial stages.

The goal of the project is to increase the number of dual system students in the agricultural sector by a total of 175 in 50 companies newly recruited to the dual system. To this end, 20 course participants in the DGETAyCM agricultural vocational school system are being further trained to act as change agents within their organizations. They act as multipliers and promoters and are to increase the number of trainees as well as the number of companies participating in the dual system by developing and implementing transfer projects.
