Nicole Brand Appointed Deputy Managing Director of German Sparkassenstiftung

Nicole Brand takes on the role as the Deputy Managing Director of German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation (DSIK), effective immediately. In her new role, she will work alongside Managing Director Niclaus Bergmann to oversee both the strategic and operational management of DSIK at its head office in Bonn.

Brand has been with German Sparkassenstiftung since 2009 and brings extensive experience in the financial sector as well as in international development cooperation. Prior to joining DSIK, she worked for Deutsche Bank and McKinsey, among others. Within German Sparkassenstiftung, she has led numerous projects in various regions.

As Deputy Managing Director, Brand will be responsible for human resources, finance, internal control systems, process development, project acquisition, and knowledge management. She emphasizes that sustainability and the well-being of employees are particularly important to her.

"I look forward to strengthening the work of German Sparkassenstiftung at the Bonn location and further expanding its international partnerships," Brand highlights.

Currently, German Sparkassenstiftung operates in over 50 countries with more than 300 employees worldwide.
