The project aims to strengthen access to financial services - particularly with regard to the financing of sustainable projects and responsible entrepreneurial activities. The project activities focus on strengthening the hard and soft skills of Trade and Development Bank employees.
The overarching goal of the project is to promote sustainable projects and green investments in Mongolia. To this end, the capacities of the Trade and Development Bank's employees in the area of sustainable financing are strengthened and ultimately the transformation of the institution into a “green bank” that is able to finance sustainable projects and responsible entrepreneurial activities is supported.
Tasks
- Kick-off workshop with all departments involved
- Analysis of the existing credit processes
- Development of an SME loan training concept for TDB employees
- Pilot training (10-15 participants) and training of trainers (ToT)
- Training of up to 50 participants in up to 4 TDB groups according to the training concept
- Desk research by local and international experts for the Mongolian adaptation/version of the "Financed Emissions Tool"
- Development of the individual "Financed Emissions Tool" for the local bank
- Workshops for implementation on site
- The training concept and the "Financed Emissions Tool" are published and made accessible
