The aim of the project was to enable the institute to meet the needs of Croatian banks for inter-company training programmes by providing targeted support for a systematic training and further education programme. On the basis of a training needs analysis carried out in mid-2000, new training programmes were developed in the following years and offered to the Croatian banks. Trainers were also trained as part of the project.

In addition, the institute was advised on marketing issues and the revision of the basic training programme for junior bank staff was completed with the support of the East German Savings Banks Academy.
