The main objective of the project is to raise awareness among homeowners’ associations (Asociația de Proprietari din Condominiu, or homeowners’ associations in multi-unit buildings) in Moldova about the benefits of energy efficiency measures in multi-unit buildings and the opportunities for utilizing the existing MREEF mechanism (Moldovan Residential Energy Efficiency Fund) and its associated financing products. To this end, a national capacity-building training program for homeowners’ associations will be designed and delivered in the form of training sessions.
Task
To achieve these objectives, the following measures will be implemented in particular:
- Development of training programs that combine content on financial literacy and the cost-effectiveness of energy efficiency measures in multi-family buildings
- Conducting pilot training sessions with selected homeowners’ associations
