In Uzbekistan, there is no dual vocational training system in the banking sector, neither for service staff nor for specialists and managers. The profession of “banker” is being established for the first time in Uzbekistan. The goal of the project is to introduce a dual vocational training program for bank clerks at selected vocational schools and a dual bachelor’s degree program at Tashkent State University of Economics.
Tasks
- Adaptation of curricula and teaching materials for dual vocational training and dual higher education (including private educational institutions)
- Accreditation of instructors for vocational training
- Strengthening the capacity of three educational institutions for dual vocational training, including the professionalization of teachers, company trainers, and vocational trainers, as well as training career counselors in methods of gender-sensitive career counseling and career planning
- Establishment of an examination board, including the development of examination content and guidelines, as well as the administration of the first round of examinations
