As part of this project, Sparkassenstiftung supported LTB in the selection of a new bank information system. The consulting services ranged from the creation of a catalogue of requirements for the new software to the preparation of the tender for the procurement of the new system and the evaluation of the tender documents received. In addition to recording all accounting activities, the new software should also enable comprehensive controlling. The consultancy also included assistance in setting up a project organisation for the implementation of the new system.
The introduction of the new information system resulted in far-reaching changes to the work processes, which in turn led to a need for quantitative and qualitative adjustments in the personnel area. A number of previously very labour-intensive manual activities, for example in accounting, were eliminated. On the other hand, new areas of activity emerged, for example in controlling. Sparkassenstiftung therefore carried out a comprehensive personnel structure analysis, which formed the basis for LTB's medium-term personnel planning.
