As part of this project, the existing requirements for IT auditing were reviewed together with the Czech National Bank and adjustments to EU standards were developed and implemented. Based on an analysis of the existing auditing system at the Czech National Bank, approaches for a modified auditing system were formulated and a variant optimised for the National Bank. In addition to organising training measures, the German Sparkassenstiftung supported the implementation by compiling manuals to facilitate the employees' future work. Furthermore, Sparkassenstiftung advised the Czech National Bank on the necessary adjustments to the existing legal framework to bring it into line with the European legal framework.
