Since the late 1990s, Sparkassenstiftung has developed a range of business games that all of its projects can use to train private individuals, experts and managers in developing countries and emerging economies. Sparkassenstiftung’s business simulations constitute its unique selling point in the field of knowledge sharing.

In the meantime, Sparkassenstiftung’s business games have developed into an international brand that stands for innovative and interactive learning. Knowledge transfer using simulations promises a learning experience that is far removed from purely fact-based theory. Interactions, practical exercises and the incentive of actually winning the game all make for a high level of learning success.

Sparkassenstiftung’s portfolio currently comprises seven business games:

  • Micro Business Game: Business training for micro-entrepreneurs
  • Savings Game: Designed to enhance private households’ financial proficiency and budget management skills
  • Farmers Business Game: An entrepreneurship training seminar for commercially oriented small farmers and small agribusinesses
  • Bank Management Game: A further training tool to help senior and junior bank managers improve their general strategic management skills
  • Risk Management Game: Advanced training for bank managers and risk specialists on risks and how to steer them
  • Market Development Game: A further training tool for managers on the topic of sales and market penetration
  • MFI Management Game: General strategic management upskilling for senior and junior MFI managers
