In Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), there are estimated to be more than 11.6 million displaced persons (UNHCR. 2018). Most of them come from Venezuela (about 6.5 million). Colombia has hosted about 1.7 million Venezuelans in recent years, registering the largest concentration in the region. The economic and financial integration of refugees remains a major challenge.

The goal of the project is to improve the economic integration of Venezuelan migrants and their integration into the labor market.

• Developing skills to promote business start-ups
• Strengthening of existing microenterprises
• Creation of offers to prepare Venezuelan migrants for successful integration into the labor market
