Development in Senegal is characterized by a young population pushing into the labor markets, a high dependence on agriculture coupled with poor financial provision in rural areas, low savings mobilization and quality deficits in microfinance institutions.
At the same time, many micro, small and medium-sized enterprises do not meet the requirements for lending, such as meaningful accounting, business planning or commercial qualifications.

Micro Business games are offered in Dakar and in 4 locations nationwide in close organizational and content coordination with local actors. In cooperation with local chambers of commerce, we monitor the impact of the trainings on the use of financial services.

Terms of Reference:

  • Content and organizational planning of Micro Business Games.
  • Implementation of the simulations by DSIK-certified African trainers.
  • Impact assessment and joint monitoring of the approach.
