1. In which institution of the Sparkassen Finance Group did you start your career and what brought you to the Sparkasse?
My career did not start in the Sparkassen Finance Group, but in the private banking sector. If you were to look at my career progressively, I would put it like this: "After five years in the private banking sector, I first came to the Sparkassen Finance Group in the early 2000s, to Bayerische Landesbausparkasse as a management representative. My interest in working for the Finance Group, on the one hand, and the task of advancing integrated sales, on the other, brought me there at that time.
2. How long did you work for this institution? Please describe your Sparkassen-career briefly.
My career after working in the private banking sector has been a mixture of cooperative banks and Sparkassen. Of the 31 years working in the banking sector, my time at Sparkassen Finance Group predominates here with over 16 years. Other stations in the “Sparkassen family“ include Sparkasse Erlangen, again Bayerische Landesbausparkasse and before my move to German Sparkassenstiftung, Deka Group.
