Czech National Bank – Advise on IT audit

Project description

Within the scope of this project the prevailing preconditions of IT audit were analysed in cooperation with the Czech National Bank. Based on the results of the analysis, adjustments to EU standards were developed and implemented. Following an analysis of the status quo of the existing audit system of the Czech National Bank, options for an adjusted audit system were given and a model audit system, tailored to the needs of the Czech National Bank was presented. In addition to the execution of training measures, the Sparkassenstiftung supported the project implementation by elaborating manuals to facilitate the future work of the audit staff. Moreover, the Sparkassenstiftung advised the Czech National Bank on the necessary adjustments of its existing legal framework conditions to fit into the frame of the European legal standards.
