Members

The members of Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation include Sparkassen (savings banks), savings banks associations, Landesbanken (central savings banks), Landesbausparkassen (central building societies) as well as their staff. Other companies and organisations closely connected to the Sparkassen can become a member of Sparkassenstiftung, too.

Sparkassenstiftung’s members are an important basis of the project work, as they render financial and professional support. In addition to making a financial contribution, the members are actively involved in the execution of projects. Thus, they provide highly qualified staff to work in Sparkassenstiftung’s projects or single member organisations act as project partners and cooperate proactively.

Sparkassenstiftung places great value on the transfer and implementation of practice-oriented solutions developed by German Sparkassen. To this end, Sparkassenstiftung can draw upon the extensive competence and expertise of its member organisations.

The acquisition of membership is regulated in Sparkassenstiftung’s Articles of Association, acknowledged by all members. Furthermore, the Articles of Association regulate Sparkassenstiftung’s responsibilities and describe the functions of the different executive bodies.
