概述
In cooperation with TATA Interactive Systems GmbH, Sparkassenstiftung is licensed to provide special bank management training across the world. The computer-based simulation game is an excellent tool to practice knowledge about bank strategies and banking principles, to prepare management decisions and to strengthen management skills. Sparkassenstiftung offers these bank management courses in the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Russian, Serbian and Chinese. Training courses werde realised with and financed by the following partner institutions and banks (among others):
Training measures were executed in the following countries:
Within 4 to 5 days, the participants develop a strategy, discuss and decide about more than 100 parameters, e.g. interest rates for lending and savings products, staff development, advertising, target-group oriented marketing, investments in securities and in money markets in local and foreign currency, equity and liability management, dividends and underwriting business. By taking own decisions and measures, strategy implementation thus becomes more comprehensible. In the course of the seminar, 4 to 5 rounds representing 4 to 5 business years are carried out. At the end, the competing management teams present their strategies, results and perspectives in “shareholder” meetings During the training courses, a PC-based market model is used to simulate the following management tasks:
The courses can be attended by up to 40 participants in 4 to 8 groups (management teams). In up to date more than 80 courses the response of the over 2,000 bank managers was enthusiastic. The majority of courses was directly funded by the partners themselves (in-house courses), some were financially supported by donors within the scope of special projects (e.g. World Bank, EU, German Federal Government, SECO). Since 2005, these management game activities have been significantly intensified and are experiencing a continuous strong demand. |
